Establishment of the “Okinawa Karate UNESCO Registration Promotion Council”

On September 17, at the press club in the Okinawa Prefectural Office, the Okinawa Prefecture and the Okinawa Dentō Karatedō Shinkōkai held a press conference regarding the establishment of the “Okinawa Karate UNESCO Registration Promotion Council”. The council aims at submitting a registration request by 2022.
